When it comes to jewellery, lab grown diamonds offer all the same beauty and quality as natural diamonds. While they are not mined from the earth’s surface, they possess the same chemical, physical and optical properties as natural diamonds and exhibit the same fire, scintillation and sparkle. They are made in laboratories, by exposing carbon to high pressures and temperatures that mimic the conditions that occurred underground millions of years ago to create natural diamonds. It requires special technology to be able to tell the stones apart. Visually there is no difference between a lab grown and a natural diamond.
