High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) Method

Formation Process

HPHT diamonds are created by simulating the natural conditions deep within the Earth's mantle. Carbon source material (often a diamond seed) is exposed to extremely high pressure and high temperature. Under these intense conditions, carbon atoms arrange themselves into the crystal structure of a diamond.
