What diamond shapes does Valquère use in its jewellery?

Valquère works with lab-grown diamonds cut into four primary shapes, each with distinct optical and structural properties. Round brilliant cuts dominate the market for good reason: their 57-58 facet arrangement maximises light return, and IGI grading data consistently shows them achieving the highest brilliance scores across cut grades. Princess cuts carry a length-to-width ratio between 1.00 and 1.05, directing weight toward depth percentages of 70-78% to compensate for their corner geometry. Pear cuts combine a single apex with a curved base, which creates an elongating effect on the finger and works particularly well in pendants and drop earrings. Oval cuts produce comparable brilliance to round cuts while appearing larger face-up at the same carat weight, a practical consideration when budget and visual size both matter. Asscher, emerald, marquise, cushion, heart, and radiant cuts are available on request. Shape affects price per carat, so comparing IGI certificates across shapes is the most reliable way to assess value.
